The Local to Ludlow campaign promotes food and drink produced within 30 miles of Ludlow. Our aim is to reduce the environmental cost of food production and to support the local food economy.
Welcome to Local to Ludlow – We are 25 years old this year!
We will be celebrating 25 years of trading this year, look out for further information about our celebration party in July closer to the time.
We always have something for everyone on our locally produced farmers market including field-fresh fruit and vegetables, craft cider and apple juice, heart-warming street food and freshly-baked artisan bread.

What we do...

We organise the Local to Ludlow Producers’ Market, a farmers' market selling a wide variety of locally produced food, drink and craft every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 9am to 2pm on Castle Square, Ludlow.

Any trading surpluses are used to run educational activities in the local community.

We promote local food and drink producers by authorising use of our logo.

We sell compostable jute shopping bags and encourage less plastic packaging.

We are supporters of Slow Food UK and Shropshire Good Food Partnership.
