The Local to Ludlow campaign promotes food and drink produced within 30 miles of Ludlow. Our aim is to reduce the environmental cost of food production and to support the local food economy.

What we do...

  • We organise the Ludlow Local Produce Market, a farmers' market selling a wide variety of locally produced food, drink and craft.
  • We run a shop, cafe and Local to Ludlow HQ at 4 Castle Square.
  • We run educational activities with children in the local community.
  • We help promote local food and drink producers by using our logo.
  • We sell compostable jute shopping bags and encourage less plastic packaging.

The last Local to Ludlow Producers Market is tomorrow, Thursday 19th, hosted at a different venue Gather.at based in the grounds of Ludlow Community Hospital off Gravel Hill 9-2pm (SY8 1FP).Come and support local producers and makers, hot food and drink being served and lots of lovely locally produced food and some gift items on sale. Our last market of 2025 will be next Thursday, 19th December at a different location. We're very thankful for our friends at Gather.at who have offered us some space to trade, very seasonal! 🚨 PLEASE note that parking in Ludlow hospital is prohibited! 🚨 There is plenty of parking on streets nearby or walk up from Galdeford pay and display car park. Or walk! Coffee, mulled apple and hot food will be served throughout.
